MLC ITS EUSKADI

Spain : Basque Country

The Cluster of Mobility and Logistics, MLC ITS Euskadi, is a private non-profit association which was founded in 2005 by 20 partners. Its aim is to enhance the competitiveness in the region, through cooperation, innovation and interaction among their partners in logistics and supply chain, infrastructure and mobility of both people and goods. MLC-ITS Euskadi is formed by a group of companies, governments and associations located in the Basque area or entities interconnected in a specific area of activity, linked by complementary characteristics and common elements. The mission of the Cluster is to achieve an integral competitiveness improvement in our region, through cooperation, innovation and interaction among all the agents and companies of the transport and logistics sector.

Nowadays the Cluster has around 100 members grouped in five axes: 1. Operators, 2. Users or Chargers, 3. Products and Services for the sector, 4. Infrastructure owners or Managers 5. Administration and other Agents (Technology Centres, Universities, Chamber of Commerce, Authorities, Cities...).

 

Role in Neptune:

MLC is mainly involved in WP3 being the leader of Task 3.1  Preparation of the vouchers and coaching and mentoring scheme and WP2. MLC will take part in the Innovation Club mainly under the theme transport and port logistics. The Cluster will participate in dissemination activities of project progress and results among its network.

NORTH WEST REGIONAL DEVELOPMENT AGENCY

Romania : Transylvania

North-West Regional Development Agency (NW RDA) is a non-profit public utility body functioning since 1998 in base of the public Romanian Law on regional development in the NUTS II area covering 6 counties from Northern Transylvania.

NW RDA has gathered a vast experience in strategic planning, programming, projects implementation, regional and European cooperation. Since 2007 the Agency acts as Intermediate Body for the Regional Operational Programme (ROP) and since 2008 it is member of the Enterprise Europe Network.

In the NEPTUNE Project, NW RDA has the role of partner, to deliver entrepreneurship and innovation support services together with the innovation vouchers to the targeted SMEs from the North-West Region of Romania.

PARCO TECNOLOGICO PADANO (PTP)

Italy : Lombardy

Parco Tecnologico Padano (PTP) is managing an innovation-driven cluster, a bioincubator (Alimenta) and a Science Park. 

PTP leads the Lodi science cluster to create added value by integrating cutting edge research with innovation, through interdisciplinary and transversal approach. This way, PTP contributes to bioeconomy development, with a focus on agriculture, food and health. Research and Development are supported for both academia and industry through innovative technology platforms for genomics, statistics and bioinformatics. In addition, through Alimenta Incubator and Accelerator, PTP provides support services to support business development from both R&D activities and new ideas. In addition, PTP is the coordinator of “CAT.AL - Lombardy High Tech Agrifood Cluster”, and acts globally through metacluster networks aimed at boosting the regional cluster on the world stage.

In the framework of NEPTUNE, PTP will be leading the entrepreneurship support activities, by drafting and implementing the vouchers and coaching/mentoring schemes forseen in WP2. It will also be involved in the organization of innovation clubs for boosting competitiveness in Lombardy Region, as well as in the innovation support activities foreseen in WP3.

POLE MER MEDITERRANEE

France : Provence Alpes Côte d'Azur and Occitanie

Created in 2005, PMM-TVT is a sea innovation cluster located in South of France. Its ambition is to contribute to the sustainable development of the maritime and coastal economy in the Mediterranean basin, in Europe and across the globe. Its network involves almost 400 members including majors companies, SMEs, research institute and academic. The cluster provides a wide range of services to its members related to access to funding, international activities, business growth, collaborative R&D projects.

It stimulates and encourages innovation trough collaboration around 6 Strategic Business Areas with Maritime safety and security, Ship and nautical industry, Marine energy resources, Marine biological resources, Environment and coastal planning, Ports, Infrastructures and shipping.

Role in NEPTUNE

PMM-TVT is the representative of the Blue Growth sectors that will be addressed by NEPTUNE project. The cluster will share useful information about Blue Growth sectors to the partners in terms of innovation needs and market opportunities. PMM-TVT will participate to the different activities of the project to support SMEs and is leader of the work package Awareness creation and dissemination.

SPACE PL

Poland : Whole country

Polish Space Industry Association (Space PL) was founded in 2012.

From that moment it brings together more than 40 Polish companies and science institutions working for the space sector especially in the country, but also abroad. All associated members are experienced and professional entities, which apparently increase the potential of space sector in Poland.

SPACE PL acts on national scale to create favorable conditions for the development of members and to represent them on key political and economic issues. SPACE PL undertakes series of actions to support members which lead to consolidation businesses, science and research environments.

 

SPACE PL role in NEPTUNE

Association is the leader for task named: Call for expression of interest and selection. Moeover, SPACE PL will contribute to the dissemination process and organization of innovation clubs, innovation support.

WATER INNOVATION ACCELERATOR

Sweden : Scania

WIN - Water Innovation Accelerator is a business network facilitating faster market access to innovative products and services. Members include small innovative companies as well as large corporations, utilities, universities and municipalities. Innovation companies receive support and assistance from WIN to develop their new products and services not least their business. Funded in 2012, WIN is part of Ideon AB and Ideon Science Park in Lund, Sweden.
Role in NEPTUNE:

In NEPTUNE, WIN will mainly contribute to entrepreneurship and innovation support, voucher system preparation and implementation as well as ecosystem communications.
